When using Offline Coupons of Gonnado, what kind of Coupon Codes do I need to provide?
Amount of Codes
Decide, if you want to use many coupon codes (every user gets another, unique coupon code) or one coupon code (every user gets the same coupon code). Gonnado recommends using many unique coupon codes to achieve the highest tracking accuracy.
List of Codes
When using many coupon codes, the minimum amount of required codes is equal to the target amount of leads of the promotion. Save all codes in a CSV file (add a code on each row of the first column) and send the CSV file(s) to your Campaign Manager.
If you use a barcode scanner to redeem coupons, you can use either one-dimensional visual codes (like barcodes), or two-dimensional visual codes (like QR codes). Gonnado can handle all kinds of visual codes (e.g. EAN-13, EAN-128, ITF, etc.). Your format will vary dependent on the POS system that you are using.
You can define the contents of your coupon codes as any kind of array of characters that is compatible with the chose code format. Gonnado will generate the visual code of your desired format for each code content.
Validity of Codes
Make sure that the coupon codes are working in your POS system during the whole promotion period. Inform your Campaign Manager about any limitation of the validity of the coupons such as a minimum basket value or a limited time period of validity.
