Should I use separate landing page URLs for different languages?

Should I define a separate Landing Page URL per Language? Or is the Landing Page multilingual and I use the same URL in all Languages?

Forwarding from your URL

To communicate in your promotion, you can use a URL of your own domain, which you set up for this purpose. From this URL you can set up a redirect to the Gonnado URL.

You can choose to

  1. link to separate monolingual URLs for each language, or
  2. link multiple languages to the same Gonnado URL, with Gonnado redirecting to the language of the browser.

1. Multiple monolingual Gonnado URLs

The links point to a landing page that always has the same language.

🔗 Use different URLs for different languages:

- brand.com/promo-en
- brand.com/promo-de
- brand.com/promo-fr

Advantage: The landing page language always matches the language of the ads.

Example

Your URL Gonnado URLs Final URL
URL brand.com/promo-en
brand.com/promo-de
brand.com/promo-fr
gonnado.com/brand-en
gonnado.com/brand-de
gonnado.com/brand-fr
gonnado.com/en/11111111
gonnado.com/de/11111111
gonnado.com/fr/11111111
URL 1 EN EN EN
URL 2 DE DE DE
URL 3 FR FR FR

2. One multilingual Gonnado URL

The language redirection URL detects the user's browser language. The user is redirected to the landing page in his or her language. For unsupported languages, a fallback language is used.

🔗 You use the same URL for all languages.

- brand.com/promo

Advantage: The landing page language always matches the language of the user.
